Prada Bag Is Back Up For Sale

It’s got a doozy of a name, but the Prada Paglia and Vitello Daina Rings Frame Bag (sounds like an Italian wedding, no?) is an excellent choice if you still haven’t found that perfect Spring/Summer handbag. The natural straw body is light and carefree, and I love the ivory leather trim that shoppers can choose from. Rope handles, side drawstrings, and grommet trim also add some personality to an otherwise classic-looking handbag. 

This bag was originally $1,359 @ Saks 5th Avenue. It has been stored in the dust bag and I have only used it on 3 occasions. It is in amazing condition. There are no pulled areas on the straw and minimal wear on the leather. There is a spot on the back side of the bag on the leather that I believe could either be removed or covered at a handbag store very easily. This bag looks perfect as you can see form the pictures. I am only selling it because I never use it.

50 Cent Sits Down With Oprah

Granted, the beef between the two was very one sided with 50 having somewhat of a grudge against Oprah because he thought that she didn’t like hip-hop culture. He went as far as naming his female dog, Oprah, as a way to make himself feel a little better. He told the ladies of the View, ‘It started out negative ’cause I thought Oprah didn’t like Hip-Hop culture. I got the dog and now I love Oprah. I started to feel like I didn’t like her and I hadn’t met her.‘
This coming Sunday, 50 Cent will appear on Oprah’s ‘Next Chapter’, in an intimate interview about his $100 million Empire, fatherhood, rap culture and life.  According to Oprah, she was very surprised by their chat, which lasted two hours.
Here is five things that she said she learned:

1. He meditates regularly.
2. Received his mantra from Deepak Chopra, whose book he’s currently reading.
3. He was not allowed to use curse words in his grandmother’s house and still follows that rule.
4. A recent conversation with philanthropist Ray Chambers was life changing for him.
And my favorite….
5. He believes either pray or worry…no need for both.
Great conversation about rap culture, fatherhood, love, and life. He describes himself as two people – Curtis and 50 Cent – I was fascinated to hear his description of them both. Really glad I did it.  Really liked him.     –Oprah

It looks as though 50 is doing a lot of re-branding and had changed for the better.

Earlier this year, he announced that he would be donating a billion meals to kids around the world and he took a trip to Somalia with the United Nations World Food Program to feed the hungry.  In an interview with ABC News, he revealed that he wanted his legacy to be more than just a guy who made cool songs:

I want to be more, not just as an artist but as a person. My legacy…what’s left behind. I don’t want to be a guy who’s just remembered for writing a few cool songs. This is the next chapter of my life. I don’t care if my audience is prepared to move forward with me. They may not necessarily be growing at the same pace.”

50′s interview will air this Sunday on Own at 9pm.

She ended up rocking the stage in Versace Platform pumps paired with a Jean Paul Gaultier cut out top and a Maggie Barry polko dot fitted skirt.

DIY Studded Sneakers

Studding sneakers has been on our DIY to-do list for awhile now. But the idea of hand piercing hundreds of holes through thick canvas was daunting enough to allow such procrastination. Enter E6000, the crème de la crème of adhesives. As you probably know by now, it’s our secret weapon for quickly and effectively attaching metal to fabric. So after the recent release of Vans‘ brushed twill pastel Authentics, we thought it was the perfect summer shoe to adorn. So grab some glue and let’s get studding! And don’t forget to enter our giveaway, after the jump, for a chance to win a pair of our favorite kicks . . .

You’ll need:

• a pair of sneakers
• 150 – 200 brass cone spikes
• E6000 adhesive
• a disposable container or popsicle stick
• toothpicks

Start by squeezing a small amount of E6000 into a disposable container or onto a wooden popsicle stick. Dispensing a small amount at a time prevents the glue from drying too quickly. Using the tip of a toothpick, apply a small dollop of glue onto the back of a spike. (Click images to enlarge)

Press the spike into the sneaker, holding it in place for a few seconds.

Continue adding spikes along the shoe’s baseline and working upwards in horizontal lines.

Arrange the spikes, without glue, into awkward spaces before attaching them.

Glue spikes onto the heel cap, again working horizontally.

Allow the shoes to dry overnight before wearing them!

Tami Roman Deletes Twitter:

‘I Didn’t Want To Wake Up To Continual Negativity From A Mistake’

They say if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen..

It definitely got real heated for Tami Roman earlier this week after she showed her ugly colors during the last episode of 'Basketball Wives’.  Throughout the show, Tami bullied and took possession of a purse from castmember Kesha while they were visiting Tahiti which resulted in Kesha’s decision to leave the island out of fear and return to Miami. On Monday night, fans of the show tweeted in disgust at Tami’s behavior including Nicki Minaj who tweeted, ‘So disturbed by this episode. SAD’.   For days, Tami and her daughters Jazz and Lyric were bullied by online commenters on both twitter and facebook before Tami and her daughters deleted their twitter pages altogether.

Today Tami revealed that she deleted her twitter because she has a new opportunity and she is ready to put Basketball Wives behind her:

I deactivated my twitter for the time being because I have been blessed with a wonderful opportunity to work with phenomenal actors on a new television show. I didn’t want to wake up to the continual negativity from a mistake made over four months ago, which I have openly acknowledged and apologized for to overshadow the blessing of this moment. I plan to reactivate my twitter when a formal announcement has been made about this new opportunity with the hopes of putting BasketBall Wives behind me.

After this week’s episode aired, Tami took to both her facebook and twitter to apology for her actions on the show:

I just landed in NYC, but I did catch 2nites episode on the plane. As I said earlier, this was BAD, wrong & immature –I apologize….I’m not proud of my behavior, but I own up to it and face it. I do apologize 2my family, my friends, my kids & 2 my cast members. The supporters who have been there, I’m sorry I let U down- this was not handled properly & I felt bad THEN and now. I simply ask that U b respectful 2my kids- they R NOT BBW & do not control my actions on the show. Don’t become what U criticize. I would have blogged this but I wanted 2 address it as soon as I landed. Accept it or nt, I acknowledge & apologize to ALL involved.

I don’t apologize for it 2b accepted – that is ultimately the other person’s right to accept or deny it. My only responsibility is to acknowledge a mistake was made and own up to it. I apologize to my family, my REAL friends, my business colleagues, and my Project Girl ladies 4my recent behavior on BBW. I am NOT a bully as depicted on the show, but I did make poor decisions in handling my differences with my cast mate. I sincerely apologize to all of us, as well as to my castmate who was on the receiving end of my wrath.

Meanwhile, Kesha wrote a blog after the show saying that she was ready to bring awareness to the issue of adult bullying:

What I experienced was extremely difficult and emotional for me, as I’m sure it is for all victims of bullying. Unfortunately, I had to relive my personal experience by watching it happen on national television. At the same time, I now have a platform to bring awareness to the issue of adult bullying in today’s society.

The whole situation is terribly sad. A week prior, I sympathized with Tami when she stated in an interview that she was the victim of online bullying so it was very disappointing that she allowed her anger to get the best of her yet again. She said in an interview:

Waking up to negativity on Twitter, negativity on Facebook, negativity on blogs, it’s emotionally and mentally draining, and things people say because they think they know you for watching you one hour of the week, it can weigh on your psyche.

You don’t have to follow me on Twitter. You really don’t. You don’t have to like me on Facebook. You don’t have to do any of that. If you disagree with how I handle something or the way a moment went down, you can say that and you don’t have to call me a b!tc#. You don’t have to call me a lowlife. You don’t have to call me a hood rat. You don’t have to call me out my name to get your point across.

Let’s hope lessons were learned by everyone involved. During the reunion, Shaunie promised less fighting and more positivity [which they didn't hold up to this season], so we can only hope that they will all grow up before the next season begins filming.

From the sound of her post, it doesn’t sound like Tami will be returning.

Amber Rose Featured In The LifeStyle Mirror

Amber is showing off her signature baldie while getting a mean line up in her latest photo shoot for The ‘Lifestyle Mirror’. In the feature, titled ‘Uptown Girl’, she’s dressed in Armani and Roland Mouret while flossing major bling with a 10-karat diamond ring.
In between striking various poses, Amber dished on her favorite subject, Wiz, as well as her buzz cut and why she won’t tolerate being disrespected even if she wants to put on something sexy or revealing every now and again.
