Rhianna's Leather "Chap" Jeans

Rihanna was spotted arriving at Fred Segal in Hollywood yesterday evening wearing a pair of R13 Denim Leather Chaps Jeans. The blue denim jeans feature five pockets and leather legs. I love the jeans, but I would prefer them in a darker denim.

Homeless Man With “Golden Voice” Offered Job With The Cavs

An ex-radio announcer who had fallen on hard times was given another opportunity earlier this week, when he was contacted by the Cleveland Cavaliers.  A few weeks ago, Ted Williams stood homeless by a Columbus Ohio Highway sign and demonstrated his smooth baritone voice in exchange for change so that he could have money to eat.

That all changed when a Columbus Dispatch reporter uploaded a video of Ted to youtube which has gained over 4 million views (in 2 days).  He was then invited to the studios of WNCI, contacted by ESPN and MTV and offered 10,000 bucks to do voiceover work at a Pennsylvania radio station.

While doing a radio interview for WNCI, a rep for the Cleveland Cavaliers called in and offered him a full time job doing voiceover work.  They have also offered him mortgage on a home.

Check out his interview with The Early Show below. He became very emotional and almost to tears, while talking about visiting his mother who is 92 and her being able to live to see him bounce back. He states he only wished he could have done this while his father was still living as well.

UPDATE-1: Many thanks go out to all of you who have been tossing phone numbers and e-mails my way for Ted’s sake. I went up to Hudson/I-71 (Columbus) today, but Ted wasn’t there. He is going to be on air tomorrow morning on radio station WNCI. I’ve left my contact info w/WNCI to call/e-mail me on a way to get your enormous opportunities over to him.

I’m going to give him a Trac phone (w/ample minutes) so that he can return calls to all of you.

Hopefully, in some way I’ll get in contact w/him. Peace.

UPDATE-2: To all those who have been writing me (as one of Ted’s only means of contact), I have learned that the radio station interviewing him tomorrow (1-5-11) a.m. is going to make him a formal offer. Whether true or not, we’ll see.

Hope it works out well for him. That was the whole point of me posting this video. I cannot thank enough everyone who was willing to do their part in offering Ted their helping hand.

Whoever lands him is certainly getting much more than a memorable personality; they’re getting a great human being as part of their team.

UPDATE-FINAL: Well everyone. You can give yourselves and Ted a high-five. He’s being given offers hand-over-fist over the air. He’ll be set for life.

My request to all. Whenever you run across a story such as this, don’t assume it’ll take a life of its own, on its own. It won’t. It can’t. There are too many other stories that drown out the one before it.

You need to spend time to get that story and its word out to many. If you care, you’ll do it.

Keep the faith, pay forward and always lend a hand; even if you’re the one who needs it.

Khloe & Lamar Get Their Own Show ((of course))

Of course we all knew this was coming and frankly I'm excited about it. I just hope Khloe will calm down with the cursing.

"Ok dolls, it’s official! Lamar and I will soon begin filming our very own show on E! called Khloe & Lamar! WOOOOHOOOOOOOO! How exciting is this?! It’s been an option since we got married, but we wanted to enjoy our first year in private.

With Keeping Up with the Kardashians, only a very small part of our life together is shown, but with this show, we’re putting it ALL out there LOL. Rob will play a major role in this too since he lives with us. He’s basically like our son LOL. With the three of us living together, it’s honestly like a sitcom. Trust me, there will be a lot of laughs.

Lamar and I could not be more thrilled about this. It’s show time baby!!!!"

Next baby Mason will have a show and so will the younger two sisters, Kendall and Kylie.

The Power

I love this quote I just read in "The Power" by the author of "The Secret." I have almost finished this entire book on my connecting flight from Memphis back to Dallas. Here is an excerpt from page 106:

Your Life-Your Story

"You are creating the story of your life, so what story are you telling about yourself? Do you believe there are things you can & can not do? Is that the story you are telling about yourself? Because that story isn't true! 

Don't listen if someone says you are less than anyone else. Don't listen if someone says you are limited in any way. Don't listen if someone says you can't do what you love to do and earn a living from it. Don't listen if someone says you are not as valuable ANC worthy as the greatest human beings who've lived. This is a really great book if anyone wants a good read. I feel very motivated and excited about all of the things I just read. I think it would be so fun to start a book club and start reading a great book like this with a couple people and then meet up to talk about what we read over lunch.... Who wants in on this with me?

New Years Resolutions

Although you may have made your new years resolutions, I have never been one to make them. I believe it's better to work on your self and your life all year long so there is no need for a "resolution."

My "solution" rather is to continue working to achieve my goals in the next year and so on after. I will say that this past year has been a test of patience after my June car wreck. Time really flies when u are at doctor appointments 3-4 times a week and things that normally are done quickly take less of priority when you are in pain. I guess I could give up my shoe addiction and my back might not hurt as much but my Louboutin's and Jimmy Choo's just will not release their leather straps on my feet. It's shoeicide really and I'm sure that in 2011 it will continue.

Seriously, for 2011 I will just continue to make improvements to my life personally and professionally and that will in turn make positive financial differences as a result. I hope you do the same in your life and don't think of it as a new years resolution but as a "solution" to success in your life!
