DIY: Miu Miu Jeweled Heels

Posted by   from HonestlyWTF
You can always rely on Miu Miu for sensational sparkly shoes. And you can always rely on us to show you how to DIY your own pair. Inspired by a pair of jeweled heeled sandals from seasons past, we repurposed some rhinestones leftover from a previous project to create a new and easy tutorial – just in time for that New Year’s Eve party you RSVP’d to!

You’ll need:

I used pre-set rhinestones, leftover from our Miu Miu sneaker tutorial. With flat nose pliers, I pried the prongs open to release the crystal rhinestones. Skip this step if you’re using loose, flat back rhinestones.
Squeeze some glue into a small dish or container. Pick up one of the larger rhinestones with the tweezers, dip the backside into the glue.
Press the stone into the top of the center of the heel. Add several other large stones around the top, gradually working your way down to the middle of the heel with smaller stones. Go back and add small round stones in bare spots. There is no right or wrong way to creating the pattern – have fun with it!
A tip: the smaller round stones will require the tiniest bit of glue. Dip a toothpick into the glue, dab it onto the backside of the stone and apply to the shoe.
Repeat the same steps on the other shoe . . .
And you’re bejeweled!

I love this!!! I'll post the pics when I do it! What do you think?

Lala Anthony In Laquan Smith Houndstooth Dress

by Kimmy from Necole Bitchie
Lala Anthony put in work last night hosting the VH1 Divas’ pre-show red carpet and later introduced soul diva Jill Scott during the main show. She rocked a black & white Houndstooth dress designed by 23 year old fashion designer Laquan Smith paired with black peep toe pumps.

Are you feeling Lala’s look?

The designer is pretty amazing for only being 23. I am loving a lot of the pieces from previous and future collections. Tell me what you think of her work.

Merry Christmas from the Kardashians … in 3-D

The Kardashians pop a pose for the holidays. Nick Saglimbeni/Celebuzz.com

By Raechal Leone Shewfelt
Despite the lack of Kris' presence, both Kim and Kourtney raved about the card on their blogs, where they posted the pic. "I love our family Christmas cards shoots and I think this one looks amazing!," Kim wrote. Meanwhile, Kourtney noted, "There's nothing I love more than getting everyone together for the Christmas card shoot! I love everyone's matching bow ties!" Mason's mama also advised that fans who have 3-D glasses lying around the house check out the 3-D version of the greeting. "It's crazy!" she added.
Do you like the card? Will you check it out in 3-D? Or have you had enough of the reality family for 2011?

Khloé Kardashian 'sad' about Lamar Odom going to Dallas

By Mike Fleeman, PEOPLE.com Khloé Kardashian's husband, Lamar Odom, will play for the Dallas Mavericks. Lamar Odom will play for the Dallas Mavericks "I have no doubt about it! I am excited :) I know this is for a reason," Khloé writes Kourtney Kardashian spent two years in Dallas as a student at SMU (PEOPLE.com) Is Dallas ready for the Kardashians? The Mavericks just got Lamar Odom and, in all likelihood, a lot of upcoming reality TV drama after the Lakers traded Khloé Kardashian's husband late Saturday. The emotion is already flowing as Khloé grapples with her mixed feelings about the move. "We are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative," Kardashian tells a Twitter follower. But she says in a later post, "I have no doubt about it! I am excited :) I know this is for a reason." Khloé won't be the first Kardashian in the Big D. As Dallas Morning News columnist Alan Peppard notes, her sister Kim briefly dated Dallas Cowboys receiver Miles Austin. "But the real Dallas expert is eldest sister Kourtney Kardashian," writes Peppard. "She spent two years living here when she was a student at SMU." It turns out Dallas has already been keeping up with the Kardashians.

Just Throw It in the Bag

Emily B Shows Off Her Expensive Shoe Game

EMILY B -PYNK Magazine
via Necole Bitchie
It looks like Emily B should have stock in ‘Red Bottoms’…

The VH1’s Love and Hip Hop star’s is showing off her uberly expensive shoe closet in the latest issue of PYNK Magazine. Inside, she dishes on the most she’s ever spent on some stilettos as well as what shoe she believes every girl should have in her closet.
What’s the most you’ve spent on one pair of shoes?
$5000. And they were special edition – crystallized, but I would never do it again. It would have to be a very special occasion. Other than that, I don’t want to spend over $3000. Never again.

Do you find that your passion for shoes influences you as a stylist?
It’s just a part of being a stylist. I love to shop, I love fashion, and I love girly things. Shoes are definitely an inspiration for me. I start off with the shoes and work my way up and around it.

Tell us about some of your entrepreneurial pursuits.
I’m actually starting my own clothing line, called Emily B. It’s going to be feminine, chic, trendy, and of course, affordable. I want to start a line that all women and young girls of all ages can wear and afford.

What’s the perfect PYNK girl shoe?
Every girl should own a good black pump, even if it’s just an open-toed pump. It’s versatile — she can wear it with anything, she can wear it with jeans, she can dress it up and wear it out with a cocktail dress…
I’m curious to know what that $5,000 shoe looks like … Just throw it in the bag..

Dallas Welcomes Lam and Khloe to Our City

Mav’s Owner Mark Cuban: ‘Khloe Is The Official Favorite Kardashian Of The Dallas Mavericks’

Dallas, Say Hello To The Kardashians!
Over the weekend, Lamar Odom was traded to the Dallas Mavericks after a high profile trade with Hornets star Chris Paul fell through. He was reportedly so disappointed that the Lakers were considering trading him that he skipped out on the first day of practice on Friday and told reporters that he was ‘keeping his distance’. ‘It feels Weird’.
Luckily, the city of Dallas is welcoming Lamar and his wife Khloe (and their reality show cameras) with open arms. Mav’s owner Mark Cuban was overjoyed as he hit up Extra TV this week to show his appreciation for the reality TV famous clan.
You know, we had a ‘team’ meeting, and we all decided that Khloe is the official favorite Kardashian of the Dallas Mavericks. She’s welcome with open arms. We can’t wait to have the whole family, can’t wait to have Khloe and Lamar. We’ll go from there.”
Dallas is a great town. She’s going to love it. The Mavs really make a point for all the players when we bring somebody in, we really work with the families to make them feel comfortable. We really want to help them get used to the city as quickly as possible so that Lamar, or whoever the player is, can focus on basketball.”
According to TMZ, Khloe and Lamar will have the reality show cameras in tow as they touch down in their new city. Meanwhile, there will plenty of fresh meat for her sister Kim.
Kris Jenner is definitely at work.

What do you think of Amber growing her hair out? I think she looks HOT! Not many women have the balls to shave their head like that. Leave some comments on what you think of the photo shoot.

Thanks!

Little Printer's Adorable Personalized Feeds

Thanks to one of my fav blog's My Modern Met for posting this:

The Little Printer is an adorable product that Berg Cloud has been working on and has finally decided to release in 2012. Users subscribe to feeds, such as News Headlines or Four Square, and the Little Printer prints them onto a 10 inch receipt-like strip of paper. It even goes a step further and filters the feed so that it "can bring you paper deliveries, regularly, quietly and happily, without competing for attention with the bright flickering screens in your life," explains Berg Cloud's CEO Matt Webb.
The Little Printer brings the world of technology onto paper, making it more tangible and traditional. Now, your favorite feeds can be written on, passed around and shared. This increases actual human social interactions, rather than interaction over the Internet.
Some other awesome things about the Little Printer? Not only can you subscribe to news headlines and social media, such as Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, but you can also subscribe to other fun things like friends' birthdays, to-do lists, daily puzzles, partworks (with subjects from art to architecture, typography to butterflies) and even a Nike running coach.

Hanging Gardens!

Garden Garden On The Wall

Posted by  for HonestlyWTF

"I’ve been dreaming of creating a vertical garden next spring – the only obstacles are that I currently don’t have the wall space or a green thumb. So until I overcome those hurdles I might just snatch up a few of these beautiful hanging tillandsia gardens, from San Francisco based Flora Grubb, which require minimal tender loving care. Baby steps . . ."
    My comments on this post:
These are so inspiring for me to just look at. I need these also! Any friend of mine knows what happened to my balcony garden that I attempted last Spring! By July, in the Texas, heat my garden was toasted! Literally!

Things I Love on Fashiolista!!!
